Ways to Give

Bereaved Families of Ontario is a volunteer driven, non-denominational, registered charity which has been supporting vulnerable families in the Bay Area for over 22 years.

We provide FREE community based support programs for bereaved parents, young adults, teens and children in a safe space where they can explore their grief, diminish their sense of isolation and help normalize the grief experience. We are committed to providing the best bereavement services for our Hamilton and Burlington families and we are the only local resource whose primary focus is helping families who have experienced the death of a child.

We are a volunteer driven organization that has been able to keep operating expenses to a minimum because of our vibrant volunteer component. Our small number of staff is complimented by the support of the volunteer program facilitators, an involved board of directors, fundraising volunteers and our community partners.

     Hope. Community. Life.
