This one-day workshop is for students in grades 9-12 who have experienced the death of a family member or close friend. Facilitated by BFO-HB staff and trained student volunteers in partnership with area high school social workers, the goal is to provide a safe, non-judgmental opportunity for teens to share with each other their experiences, feelings, and thoughts about the person who has died. The format includes small and large group discussions as well as art activities throughout the day. This workshop is offered twice a year (in the fall and spring semesters).
Please pre-register with your school Social Worker or Guidance Counsellor.
