| For Who? Parents who have experienced the death of a child of any age, young adults who have experienced the death of a parent or sibling, grandparents and for bereaved spouses parenting young children. |
OPEN TO THE PUBLIC - No program fees
This program is offered one evening per month alternately between Hamilton and Burlington locations starting April 2011. The evenings are designed to provide some basic grief and bereavement education as well as a time for sharing. After a 20 minute presentation, attendees are encouraged to participate in one of the peer facilitated loss specific break-out discussion tables. The break-out tables include support for parents who have experienced the death of a child of any age including perinatal death, young adults who have experienced the death of a parent or sibling, grandparents and for bereaved spouses parenting young children.
