"BFO has helped me so much … thank you!"

BFO is not funded by any level of government, nor
are we an agency receiving funds from the United Way.
We are responsible for raising all of our own funds.
We would hope that no one ever again would need the services we provide. That
would be our most fervent wish. However, reality tells a different story, and
death—often untimely and unexpected—is a fact of life.
Sadly, the need for our services never ends. If anything, we
have been experiencing a marked increase in the need for our services in our
community over recent years.

All of our services are provided free of charge, yet acquiring the necessary
funding to run our programs continues to be a challenge. We are very proud of
these programs, because each one separately addresses a specific need, while
together they offer a supportive and caring network for the bereaved and their
families.
BFO Hamilton/Burlington needs your support and your generosity so that we may
continue to offer this programming. Not everyone in the community needs BFO at
the same time. Some may never need BFO, while those who need us come and go. So
many grieving people have passed through our door and left renewed, ready to
reinvest in life. BFO Hamilton/Burlington must continue to be there and be ready
when those who desperately need us open our door.
By helping BFO, you are telling the bereaved families of Hamilton and
Burlington that they matter, and that they are not alone on their journey.
There are several ways in which you can donate to
BFO.
It can be a one-time donation or a monthly
pledge.
